After watching the first pre-season game against Seville. I thought the first half team were pro-active and the second half (2nd XI) were more Re-active.
Against Solihull on Wednesday my starting eleven would be...

Allsop, Laird. Neumann, Clarer, Cochrane, Osayi-Samuel, Iwata, Gray, Furuhashi, Dykes, Stansfield.

Score prediction...3-0 Blues

As you say, an interesting team selection.
The old hands showed the way in the first half, then the young pretenders battled through to defend a slender lead.

The youngsters impressed me in as much as they didn't panic at any stage and looked to be in control, a few wayward passes here and there but overall a good showing.

Pleasing to know that if called upon (Injuries/suspensions etc.) they can be relied upon.

Didn't see the game this morning. Any you think could break through to the first team? I know Betteka has played a few games now and has had positive reviews.

Betteka didn't have a startling game but there is definitely a player in there. The Forward player Isichei showed quite a bit of promise, and Fogarty looked strong at the back before he had to go off after a head clash
