Demarai Gray is in contention, his early return from international duty was precautionary.

Willum Willumsson, Marvin Ducksch and Bright Osayi-Samuel are all close to training with the main group but not available for Hull game.

Ethan Laird, Lee Buchanan and Scott Wright are all long-term injury prospects.

My Team Prediction...

Beadle.

Neumann, Klarer, Robinson, Cochrane

Iwata, Doyle

Roberts, Stansfield, Gray

Furuhashi/Dykes.

(I personally would like to see Dykes start but I think CD will go with Kyogo)

Score Prediction 2-0 Blues

🟠 Opposition Focus: Hull City

Championship Match – Sunday, 19 October | 3:00 AM (NZT) | St Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park

📝 Last Game Report

Hull’s last match saw them claim a 1–0 win over Sheffield United. The Tigers defended well and took their chance when it came, showing the kind of organisation and grit that has helped them grind out positive results this season.

⭐ Key Players

  • Oli McBurnie – Hull’s main goalscorer and focal point in the box.
  • Joe Gelhardt – Quick, direct forward who can cause problems in transition.
  • John Egan – Experienced centre-back who provides leadership and aerial presence.

⚽ Context

Hull currently sit 15th in the Championship and have shown flashes of attacking threat but also some inconsistency defensively. Their recent win over Sheffield United suggests they can be hard to break down when organised. Expect a competitive, physical opponent who will look to punish mistakes and use quick breaks to hurt Birmingham.

Apologies, Pete. I've just been messing around with your post. You just beat me to it!

As with team selection, I agree with what you have there. No Paik however? Is that due to international attendance?

No problems.
Regarding Paik...He looked a bit jaded after the last international break and I think the Jet-lag has got to him so a bit of rest required. He can still come off the bench as a finisher and do a job.
