Reflecting on the game. It was tough. They had done their homework on us. It had been spoken about a lot in interviews, so no surprise really they could work out how we were going to play. More to play for than in the friendlies, and maybe a nervousness about the team working together with...
I'm looking forward to the Rotherham and Huddersfield games. They'll be a challenge, and a chance to make up for our games against them last season. Of course, Wrexham will be a spectacle. Does Reading still have that made-up rivalry with us? Anything close to a derby? Shrewsbury?
Keeper competition, like it. I don't know much about him. Positive news from Blues though, building from the back. I read they were waiting for the new financial year (July 1st) to start signing, so they may begin to roll in soon.
I heard the other day it's just a rumor. I think Alex Dicken mentioned it on his podcast.
It would be good to start getting some players in through the door about soonish.
Had to look him up incase you were getting your Dennis Bailey and Odin Bailey mixed up. Played for blues 89-91, 23 goals in 75 games. Before my time.

Blues’ goalkeeper Mayo agrees new deal
The goalkeeper has agreed terms on a 2-year deal, keeping him at St. Andrew’s @Knighthead Park until June 2026.

I like the sound of this. Also seeing Scott twines name being rumoured. Two names that show the blues aren't messing around this summer. Not going for multiple free transfers like other teams in the league.
